Main Characters (Mains)
Guild Member ranks are –

Requirements, Responsibilities and Privileges
The requirements to achieve each of the above ranks, the responsibilities and privileges, are as follows –
Footman – Default
This is the initial rank for all new members' main characters and there are no requirements for Footman except that they conduct themselves in accordance with the Guild Rules.
Tyro – Trainee
These are new members' characters who have signed up to the website and have properly configured their membership profile (ie added characters and avatars) to be able to join up to normal guild events on the site calendar (not including main guild instanced raid events).
Tyros have limited access all but the 'Officer' tab of the guild bank.
Any Tyro that has not been active for over 28 days, will be removed from the guild.
Militia – Full Member
After 1 month within the guild your main character shall be promoted to 'Militia' rank. This is provided you have correctly formatted your website profile and have been reasonably active within the guild. Militia will be able to sign up to participate in main guild instanced raid events on the site calendar
Any Militia that has not been active for over 28 days, will be demoted back to Tyro.
Militia have greater access all but the 'Officer' tab of the guild bank.
Legionnaire – Senior Member
To attain the rank of Legionnaire a member will have been active in the guild and on the website as a Militia for 3 months. This means they will be attending guild organised events e.g. dungeon runs, and be regularly visiting the site to keep up to date on guild news, and posting their own comments where appropriate.
Legionnaires have much greater access all but the 'Officer' tab of the guild bank.
Any Legionnaire that not been active for over 28 days, will be worried about and chased up if anyone has contact details for them.
Signifer – Officer
To attain the rank of Signifer a member will have Held a Legionnaire position for some time. The Signifer rank is the main Officer rank and holds much more responsibility than normal members. A Signifer should have been very active in organising and participating in guild events, and have a main character in the guild of at least level 40. Signifer are expecting to help manage the guild in that they will be responsible for monitoring other guild members to ensure compliance with the Guild Rules. They are expected to have alt characters in order to use them to help fellow guildies coming up through the levels.
Signifers have access to both Officer chat in game and the Officer forums. Signifers are consulted by the Guild Master before making any important decisions concerning the Guild and are expected to take part in all officer discussions. Signifers are also active in making recommendations for promotions of other guild members and officers.
Signifers have unlimited access to all but the 'Officer' tab of the guild bank and limited access to the 'Officer' tab.
Any Signifer that has not been active for over 28 days, will be offered withdrawal counselling and be directed to a dark room, if we receive no reply we shall notify the police that they are likely incapacitated or dead.
Signifer is the first rank that can invite members to the guild, this ability is to be used to invite members that have already applied and been accepted on the website or to invite existing member's 'alts'. All new applicants should be referred to the website to use the official application form.
Prefect – Administrating Officer
The Prefect rank is for those who have been Prefect for a while, and have been exemplary in their conduct and very helpful in the management of the guild. They have all the responsibilities of Prefects but becoming a Prefect brings with it additional specific administration duties and responsibilities assigned to them by the Guild Leader
Prefects have access to both Officer chat in game and the Officer forums. Prefects are consulted by the Guild Master before making any important decisions concerning the Guild and are expected to take part in all officer discussions. Prefects are also active in making recommendations for promotions of other guild members and officers.
Officers are expected to help the Guild Banker to keep the guild bank tidy and correctly laid out. In order to facilitate this Prefects have unlimited access to all five member access tabs of the guild bank. They also have full access to the Officer Access tab of the guild bank.
Centurion – Cabinet Officer (Advisor)
The Centurion rank is for those long standing officers, whom the Legate feels he can confer with when he has decisions to make about the guild. These are valued friends and advisors, people he can turn to, people he can rant at when he feels aggrieved about something, but where it would be inappropriate for him to rant in front of the guild generally. They act as his 'cabinet' and conscience, they are his sounding board, and mirror in which to keep a check on himself.
Centurions have unlimited access to all tabs of the guild bank. As particularly trusted officers, Centurions can remove members from the guild.
Legate – Guild Leader
The Legate is ultimately responsible for the Guild as a whole, though it is his aim to run the Guild more as a democracy than a dictatorship. While the Guild Officers are active in the decision making process, the Legate will settle any issues, debates and grievances that cannot be resolved by other means. The Legate sets general guild 'policy' as exemplified in the Guild Mission Statement. He has final veto over any and all decisions involving the guild. The Legate also picks Centurions and decides upon the need for, duties of, and candidates for, Prefect positions.
