So with the transmorification coming lots of people (im one of them) are going back and farming old content to make sure they have what they want on patch day. So this is a little thread to see what people are going for. Im going for the judgement set for my pally. This for me is still the best set that bliz ever designed. and for my rogue it has to be

I'm going for the T6 set on Neth - only need gloves now! Been wanting to try tanking for some time, and for that I'd love: Bulwark of Azzinoth

You probably missed This Link I put in Shout Out. It's one of the new additions coming in 4.3. The ability to buy an art change for any piece of your gear to look like (Whilst keeping all stats/name etc) any other similar (ie same slot, same Armor class) gear THAT YOU OWN. So some people are going out to collect their favourite looking Tier sets ready for the patch. Me? I'm planning on collecting a full set of grey gear from the armorers in Goldshire etc (Bet they wont include those though) The only practical application I can see for this passed the first week of novelty factor is that you'll be able to make guns look and SOUND like bows. Edit: Oh, and the all new Darkmoon Faire Island will be selling Replica Armor sets of all the sets that aren't in the game anymore (or just not available to retrofit).

1 thing to also remember is that the item has to have stats, so no making your gear look like grays I'm afraid tree. The are also not allowing certain "silly" items like weapons that look like frying pans.

The greys will probably come later; they're consciously rolling this out with overcautious restrictions with a view to seeing how it flies, and leaving scope for relaxing them in the future.

Would love to see Yavonne in full T6. The Sunwell run already bagged her the belt and the boots (the full set requires running SW/MH/BT I believe).

So i presume this will be tier 0 and 3 along with the dk starter set any others any1 can think of? Please please please bliz put Corrupted Ashbringer back in the game. For those that have no idea what the old sets look like or where to get them this wowhead page is great http://www.wowheadnews.com/blog=194015/transmogrifying-armor-getting-tier-sets

This smacks of desperation by Blizzard.
Running attrociously easy obsolete content for achievements was bad enough - now doing it again for look a like gear!!!
/sigh

Noone is forcing anyone to do achievements or running old raids for tier sets.... Its a choice you have - take it or leave it. People who love old content can do that and the rest can go on with whatever they find fun in the game. I dont see what you are missing out on Jugger? If you dont like the idea, dont use the option

Each their own opinion. What I do know is that ppl have long asked for some kind of customization, and well, now they got something. It's hard to judge exactly how this will impact, but I'm pretty sure that for most part it will be a nice option for ppl to chose how their character now looks. Those who wish to look like their favourite tier set for their class or those who still love the ZA/ZG outfits - the choice is yours! And this is not something for everyone I know, but this might offer KoS to do some of the places they've never seen before, be it for loot or just the fun.

/sigh I think your missing the point m8. For one thing saying the old content is easy for lvl85 sure it is if you have the numbers. For the later BC stuff you still need a good amount of 85's to clear the raids. Try doing BT with 3 peeps and come back and tell me its attrocioulsy easy! Those of us that do the old content (me Ship and Trix do a lot of it weekly) dont just do it for achievements or evan gear (we where doing so befor the anouncement of 4.3) we do it for the fun, how the old content looks (a hell of a lot better then this cata crap), for the lore and for the challange of doing it in a small group. Yes there is challange i would argue that trying to do some of these old raids in small groups takes as much skill or probably more than doing this heavly nerfed tier 10.
