Tree: So? Activision still charge £20 more than anyone else. They do it with CoD games now too. We shouldn't encourage it. As to the state of the games on release, I wouldn't pay £50 for a meal that has to go back 4 times before it's edible.

Juggernort: Tree - people spend £50 on a meal, and you only eat it once, but a game (if you like it) could provide hours / days / weeks ++ of fun

Tamsk: I'm very pleased to have saved that money by agreeing to do something I'd have been doing anyway, yes.

Tree: My answer to the poll BTW is: "Not until it gets a DAMNED site cheaper". £50 for a PC game is ridiculous. Activision strike again.

Tree: Technically, you have full statutory rights, in practice you'll never get a refund because you "opened the game", but if you can show it's broken,not of quality or 'as described'...

Juggernort: I dont believe I have any statutory rights to a refund on the game - think your mistaken with that

Aule: I play D3 because I was also there with D2. This game will not replace WoW.

Tree: D3's a 1 player game (with online aspects) anyway, isn't it?

Soulblaze: ill be playing both because D3 is brilliant dont get me wrong, but it isn't THAT brilliant to make me convert fully

Juggernort: BTW the purpose of the poll really is to see if our WoW guild has a future - or if the majority are converting to Diablo - should we convert across?!?

Juggernort: I didnt notice any WoW play issues - other than the lack of guildies online :s

Tamsk: D3's actually been remarkably playable the past couple of days; sure, it jammed solid right at midnight, but I was in by 01:10, and have got plenty of play since.

Tree: So when D3 took Battle.net down did WoW go tits up?

Honours List

I thought it would add a nice competitve edge to fun events if we had an honours list for previous winners of these type of events. I've compiled a list as best I can having worked back through our forums and calendar and set out the list of events and winners below. If there are any events missing, or anyhone can fill in the blank for the Scavenger Hunt then give me a shout. Tree maybe you could add this to the 'hard' links in the useful info page or similar.

Broccanne Prefect 214 Posts	Hey!! The yuletide naked gnome race of 2009 was a TEAM event, and where i don't begrudge Sati's individual win, I would like to point out that the winning TEAM was Daimi, Seren and my not so humble self!!

Indicana Prefect 136 Posts	I am being told that Nihilan (Cass's Alt DK) won it. He said he did well as some of the stuff was from Eastern Plaguelands and he used the Deathgate portal to get there quick, the sneaky little bugger You mean, you'll put down your rock and I'll put down my sword, and we'll try and kill each other like civilised people?
